KINGS OF BOSPORUS. Cotys I, with Nero, 45/6-68/9. 48 Units (Bronze, 30 mm, 10.65 g, 12 h), struck during the Roman intervention, circa 62-68. [ΝΕΡⲰ]ΝΟC ΚΛΑΥΔΙΟΥ ΚΑΙCΑΡΟC CΕ[ΒΑCΤΟΥ] Laureate head of Nero to right. Rev. MH (mark of value) within oak wreath. MacDonald 334 corr. (obverse legend). RPC I 1932. Very rare. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, very fine.
